About Pflag London ON

Pflag London ON is a local chapter of Pflag Canada and a volunteer-run, registered charitable organization. Through support, education, and advocacy, we strive to create a more accepting and inclusive society for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, friends, and allies.

We provide assistance to anyone struggling with issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Additionally, we offer resources, education, and support to parents, families, friends, and colleagues seeking guidance or understanding.

Our compassionate volunteers are often contacted by adolescents facing fear and uncertainty, as well as by parents and family members who may be experiencing anger, confusion, or concern. Regardless of the situation, we are here to provide support when it feels like no one else is.Pflag London operates under the leadership of a Board of Governance and is proud to be a chapter of Pflag Canada, a national charitable organization dedicated to fostering inclusivity and acceptance.

pflag London: A Safe and Supportive Space

pflag London is a welcoming and compassionate community for individuals and their loved ones navigating the journey of coming out and living openly. Our volunteer facilitators have walked similar paths and bring warmth, knowledge, and understanding to those seeking support.

Each facilitator is trained in peer facilitation and Mental Health First Aid, ensuring they are equipped to provide informed and empathetic guidance. All volunteers have also undergone vulnerable sector screening to work with youth and other vulnerable populations safely and responsibly.

To best support our community, pflag London offers seven support meetings each month, providing a space where individuals and their loved ones can find the group that meets their unique needs. You are not alone—we are here for you.
